I can feel the smug satisfaction emanating from you, every time that you note the pain I'm in- recharging your batteries and making you smile

All so you can say "I told you so" with undeserved pride,

I highly recommend you wipe it away, lest the universe comes for your Schadenfreude and shows you true desolation

It's ever imminent but at least when I burn out and fade away, your dissonance will no longer be a problem mine-

A nod to the eternal escape and perhaps in that spiraling madness I will find peace~
